Mr. 973808
I just wanna know how much did some of you guys charge for installs and builds when you first started off? Quote THE GRADUATE 10:18:2007
audiofanaticz
Im cheap.. lol I will put a headunit in for $20. Owner pays/provides the harness and dash kit if needed and ill supply the solder and shrink tubing. I will build a basic box for $100. Basic meaning average sized, single baffle, 1 chamber. Owner pays/provides for wood (ill supply screws, glue). Carpeting, resin will cost extra depending on box. I will install a amp for $50. This would be running 1 power wire(ran through the fire wall NOT THE DOOR JAM)/remote/rca cord(s) from front to back. Owner pays/provides needed wiring. I think the prices are fair. Most shops will charge $50 for a headunit install unless you buy it from them, most prefab boxes are priced $150 plus, and at least $100 to run wire and install a amp. talentfinder36
I own a shop so for a headunit install i'll charge $50-$75 and try to sell the harness, dash kit and other accessories putting them at $100 Building boxes MDF - $150 + Custom Fiberglass - $250 + Installing Speakers $200+ The prices are very flexible but that is normally how I gauge it. 01xtreme
friends= no charge if you're not my friend then there is probably a reason so I wouldn't even do it... Im the same way. I refue to charge my friends to do shit to their cars, cause they all help me so much with my truck. If I am not friends it is about what audiofanaticz charges. if I dont want to do it, I usualy just price it too high, and they find someone else.
