Sutliff
We (I) all know there is a huge presence & support / etc., here on SMD forums for Mechman's offerings ... & they look amazing , ... but I think it would be semi-foolish to now look at some of the others out there that build custom, hi-end, hi-output alternators. Anyone have any experience with DC Power Engineering? Excessive Amperage? Iraggi? Etc.? TRTC360
all great companies, so far the least i've heard issues about is DC power, i've heard too many horror stories about EA and irragi to support them, also look into singer and mechman alts '93 Firebird Formula V8 H/U- Kenwood eXcelon KDC-X395 Mids/Highs Amp- Hifonics ZXI80.4 Wiring-KNU RCA's, Speaker Wire, And Two Runs Of Trystar 1/0 G34 Red Top and a 180amp Ford Alternator www.youtube.com/TRTC360

Kyblack76
Hope this dont turn into a shit storm... also, there seems to be some that say they like this or that, and havent even had personal use of the product. Take it all as a grain of salt, and use your own best judgment. I have my favorite. You will have yours,... when you get rolling into it... Cheers, and great luck to you... Slapuhho
I've ran Mechman, Singer, and DC Power. The only alt company I would recommend is DC power. 4 18's, low power and lots of gay fur. Team gg Team DOA My Videos
MoneyPitInvestR
very true... Singer, Mechman, DC (if you can get an alt within the same year) or Iraggi are your best bets... I happened to catch Dom during prime time in the summer so i had mine within a week 2006 Impala LS Pioneer AVH-P4300dvd "Big 3" 0awg Iraggi 320a alt. knockin'hoe97
I have used DC and Singer and I personally prefer singer but both are great companies that will do you well. But i will say that although DC is a great company, it takes them longer than most companies at least in my experience. But like stated above everyone has an opinion so take it for what its worth
Sutliff
No, and I understand. People discuss and to death all day long about speakers, batteries, head units, amplifiers, on and on and on, without there being an issue whatsoever. But I had a feeling as soon as this was brought up there might be a little bit of tension with Mechman being such a large presence here on this site and with Steve himself. There are no other alternator places sponsoring this site, but there are around 4 subwoofer manufacturers on the site, so it is hard to tread lightly.
