What are you running on stock alternator?

stock 150 amp

AQ 2200 .5 ohm

big 3 done

volt rarely drops below 14

this i need to see. what volt meter are you using. you should be shredding your reserve and no way that alt keeps up.

Yes. I call bullshit. I have D1200, AND D3100, wired to 1 ohm. I drop to 13.1 once car is warm and driving. Don't need to lie to kick it.

edit: 120A alternator. I highly doubt 30A makes that big of a difference, especially when you don't have nearly the reserve I have.

Double edit: D925, not D1200.

You might want to invest in a quality in car volt meter. Or at the very least a Digital Multi Meter so you can at least see how bad your voltage really is.

Everything copper 0 guage

2 runs of 0 guage pos to rear

0 guage grounds all over my damn car 14+ wires

2 Everstart marine maxx 124ah for a total of 228ah

Stock 115? Amp acura tl alternator. Voltage drop 14.2 to 13.4-2 for about 1-2 mins then 11.9-8. Really bad. Its basically the same as playing your sounds with the car not running and having the alternator "charge" the quicky drained batteries. After I have switched to Powermax usa 220amp alt,I never drop below 13.4 full tilt. That's with a saz 2500@1 ohm,and 2 four channels runnign in active with 160amp fuse

Umm 124 plus 124 is 248 :)

I am running 500w rms system total now and will be up to 800w+ when i get my SA-8 installed.

Seems like nothing compared to most around here but it's as loud as i like and all i really want with all my sound proofing.

Stock alt on my '07 Ranger is 115 amp i am going to be running a Alpine MRX-M55 with the SA-8.

Right now i have a 3rd gen 12" Type S running 300w@4ohm and a 1 farad stinger cap it shows it dips down to the mid-low 13v range when i push it as hard as i do.

I am expecting it to maybe drop to the high 12v range when the SA-8 is running hard.
