Hey guys

Zx2500.1 in my truck pushing 2 l7 15 in a 12 cube box!

Big 3 0 gage all around

Box and subs installed I have all wires run to back

THIS IS A PROJECT TRUCK WITH ONLY THING NEEDED TO COMPLETE THIS PROJECT IS SECOND BATTERY!! :)

I have my run of 0 gage 17ft back to cab off STOCK battery up front with 300amp fuse between!

Have 5 feet of zero gage ground in back also

All wires are being keeped long because I don't know we're second battery is going!

So I decided to hook up amp ground and power

Gain, bass boost, and subsonic all at zero! Have not been touched! Today was playing music subs hitting very faintly then a hard hitting song came on sub got little louder nothing crazy! Then amp cut out, then came back on! Volt meter never dropped below 14.2 EVER! Turned music down to level 2 out of 40 very low and drove 15mins like this! Parked and felt amp and it was really warm???? I don't understand why it cut out or why it was hot if I wasn't playing it after it cut out!

Basically is this amp fryed? It hasn't even been pushed! Volts never dipped below 14.2 and amp is one month old and only installed yesterday and played today!

5 feet is alot of ground wire. the ZX2500 is a 2 ohn stable amp are you wired below that?

12- DC Audio m2Lvl3 12's1- Hertz HSK3 way2- DC5K's2- ZX350.42- Stinger SP1500D batteries in rear3- runs of 1/0ga. to the rearTeam DC Audiodc-banner.jpgdcsoundlab.com

Quality is all in how you take pictures ;) I have plenty of projects that look WAY better on camera then in person :D

crazy to fit so many in so little. Reminds me of some of the porns I've seen?

It's 5 feet only for now! I was gunna use that ground from chassis to battery then battery ground to amp 3ft battery then maybe 1ft of ground battery to amp! Just don't know exactly that's why I have cut it yet! But ground is to chassis and paint is sanded off! I'm am seeing 2 ohms at amp! 2 15 l7 dual 2ohm!

Wires touching? Only thing I can think of is RCA as pioneer head unit avh p6300 does not have RCA covers! Ya amp powers on and is still working!

At first I was thinking lack of power but like I said I have everything set at zero and volts never dropped below 14.2

Amp was really warm to touch even after I turned down volume down to 1

It cut out then for a second then powered back on!

I'm missing somthing here! Maybe I should wait till I complete my electrical to declare this amp dead! :(

Electrical comes to be a problem when your amp produces power lol, not when you have all your settings turned down. All it could be is a bad wire or a bad connection somewhere (positive, ground, remote turn-on, or rcas) Or it could be as simple as your head unit doesn't wanna work with the amp. If you have a volt meter, test all your connections and if they are all good then its your head unit or your rcas. There's a lot of different things, sorry I can't be of much help without seeing it :/

edit: you could've also just got a bum amp, if you have another amp laying around hook it up and see if it works right, if not then your problem is still on going...
