skaraudio
The time has finally come to announce full specifications as well as pictures on the completed VVXv2 Subwoofer line up! We will not be doing a Pre-Order on these right now, but they are due soon! ETA : March 5th, 2013 Web Link Nearly two years has passed since we initially launched the VVX Series subwoofers, and ever since the launch, they have been making waves in the car audio community everywhere. We are now proud to announce the launch of what our engineers have been working on for more than one year now…The VVXv2 Subwoofer line up! The VVXv2 was redesigned from the ground up to innovate and improve on every aspect of our 600 Watt RMS line up. The Skar Audio VVXv2 Series subwoofers were designed to withstand brutality, sound amazing, and recreate low end response that will make your car tremble. With a completely unique new basket & design; the woofers are capable of enormous excursion, creating earth shattering responsive bass. They feature a brand new competition grade foam surround which is very accurately stitched to its premium paper cone. Utilizing a three piece ferrite magnet motor assembly along with a 2.5” voice coil, the vvx series is conservatively rated at 600 watts RMS power! The VVXv2 lineup is available both in Dual 2 Ohm and Dual 4 Ohm Voice Coil configurations and comes in 10”, 12”, and 15” sizes. Whether you are looking to do a single subwoofer for that extra bass in your daily driver, or if you want to run sixteen of these woofers in a competition vehicle, the VVXv2 series will always impress! Pricing Will Remain the Same as the VVXv1 once these arrive - but so many new features :-) Technical Specifications Available in D2/D4 Voice Coil Configurations 600 Watts RMS Power 2.5" Voice Coil Triple Stack Ferrite Magnets (160mm * 20mm x 3) Double Layer Spider Premium Grade Foam Surround High Quality Paper Cone Xmaxx : 26.5mm VVXv2-10 D2/D4 Re : 1.8+1.8 Ohms/3.2+3.2 Ohms Res : 35.1 / 39.5 Ohms Qms : 0.317 / 0.326 Qes : 0.294 / 0.258 Qts : 0.327 / 0.301 Rms : 5.8 / 5.2 kg/s Cms : 0.28 / 0.26 mm/N Mms : 337.4 / 326.2 gr Nref : 0.19% / 0.17% Bl : 26.9 / 28.2 n/a Spl : 87.4 / 88.2 dB Vas : 41.6 / 39.5 L Rp : 20.1 / 22.9 Ohms Lp : 29.8 / 28.4 mH Cp : 683.9 / 724.1 uF Le : 2.67 / 2.41 Mh Xmax : 26.5mm VVXv2-12 D2/D4 T//S Paramters D2/D4 Re : 1.8+1.8 Ohms/3.2+3.2 Ohms Res : 39.5 / 45.6 Ohms Qms : 0.395 / 0.371 Qes : 0.315 / 0.278 Qts : 0.38 / 0.315 Rms : 5.93 / 5.4 kg/s Cms : 0.29 / 0.23 mm/N Mms : 382.5 / 365.6 gr Nref : 0.21% / 0.156% Bl : 26.1 / 27.4 n/a Spl : 87.2 / 87.9 dB Vas : 71.3 / 65.8 L Rp : 22.5 / 25.6 Ohms Lp : 30.6 / 32.6 mH Cp : 722.7 / 852.3 uF Le : 2.18 / 2.60 Mh Xmax : 26.5mm VVXv2-15 D2/D4 T//S Paramters D2/D4 Re : 1.8+1.8 Ohms/3.2+3.2 Ohms Res : 42.3 / 56.5 Ohms Qms : 4.23 / 3.256 Qes : 0.776 / 0.685 Qts : 0.45 / 0.39 Rms : 7.2 / 6.4 kg/s Cms : 0.45 / 0.36 mm/N Mms : 346.5 / 325.3 gr Nref : 0.18% / 0.14% Bl : 23.5 / 25.7 n/a Spl : 86.5 / 87.8 dB Vas : 268.2 / 253.9 L Rp : 38.2 / 34.5 Ohms Lp : 53.5 / 45.6 mH Cp : 1295.5 / 1203.2 uF Le : 3.09 / 3.6 Mh Xmax : 26.5mm Skar Audio www.SkarAudio.comPhone : (888) 501-7527

WillPwn4Food
I'm not a fan of the completely black dust cap. I'd have to bring it to a paint shop to have some custom airbrushing done. I'll probably order the v1's still just for that reason.
