meade916 Posted February 10, 2013 Report Share Posted February 10, 2013 The SMD VM-1 can be used in ANY car and doesn't have to be molded in or any special custom install. I wired mine up to a cigarette lighter adapter and now i put it in ANY car to view the overall electrical health. I have parts for 500 coming in and i am going to wire up adapters, at no extra charge, with the option for you guys to cut the wire if you choose, for a more custom install. I like the idea of being able to grab it and just hop into any car with it and an adapter like this will allow you to do just that. I feel bad the first 100 don't have them but i will offer to send one out to anyone who wants one. It makes it real nice to see your electrical and not really have to cut any wires or tap in to do it. Matter of fact i was able to see my 90 accord wasn't charging very good at all and determined the alt was going bad without even breaking out my DMM to look.
