Swordlordboy1234
......or build it yourself I understand if you don't have the tools to do it though. I don't have the tools, I've never been one to grab the bull by the horns (didn't drive till after 18) and I just wouldn't have the time to build a box while in college. I hardly think I'm gonna have time to make the rear beauty panel for the coax's before the show. But if I gotta sit in my gf's yard with a freakin chisel making it I will. I will be ready for turkey drag. bighossf150
You probably could have bought the tools and built one for less than the cost of a bhe box, $40 for a circular saw, $35 drill and bits, $30 jig saw, $15 square and clamps, $10 glue/screws, $70 2 sheets of mdf . Would put you right at 200 but since you would have the tools you would be able to try out different boxes for cheap Used to have a loud truck 2009 Corvette Z06, H/C/I, 150 shot, g force tune, 730rwhp/690rwtq 2013 F-150 limited, MPT Tune, leveled on 35"s
Swordlordboy1234
Very true. Only problem beyond that is time. Time as a college student is almost as bad as time as a father. I feel bad for the college students who are fathers. They must not have time for bass because as it sits I gotta tell my gf I can't do stuff because of bass. She tries to understand. Another benefit of having it built is it will look sexy and I know it will be done right and I'll never have to think about it again. I plan on getting those tools and stuff here after college which is less then 2 years away. But as of right now it seems like having certain things built for me is best time/money ratio while in college. Believe me, when I'm out of college. Not only will I be stepping up my builds from the 4k to the 10k+ cost! but I'll be building all my own stuff and really learning the ins and outs of car audio. Fiberglass and wood work is needed! But I don't have time to learn it for the time being. Raptorman
Same here. Surprisingly with the entirety of my setup, down to the deadener and fiberglass costs, it is currently a $3.4k build. 1996 GMC Sonoma Four Fi BTL Neo 18's In 2:1 6th Order Bandpass 2 Ampere 5k's @ .5 TEAM FI TEAM #LITHIUMCANTDEMO On 10/20/2013 at 0:37 AM, KillaCam said: Fucking with a Prius driver is like making fun of a disabled kid. Swordlordboy1234
Really? I'm between 3,300 and 3,900 depending on some stuff. I guess the 2400$ transmission and the 3k in parts I have in this car kinda make it feel like more My old YouTube channel : http://www.youtube.com/user/SwordLords1234?feature=mhee My old build log : http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/161872-96-accord-b2-sundown-sky-high-dc-power-re-re-build-for-heatwave/page-37 My New Build - http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/207041-2016-mazda-6-sql-build/ 2016 Mazda 6 Touring JL Fix 86 - OEM signal correction B2 prototype DSP 6to8 B2 Ref63 - 3 way active set 2 B2 Class H quattro's 1 B2 Zero.5R @.5 2 B2 HNv3 12 d2 B2 SLIP40 - Lithium in the trunk Northstar Group 35 under the hood 100ft 2/0 welding cable 30ft 4ga welding cable 20ft 8ga welding cable All stinger OFC speaker wire Soundrive custom RCA's Tons of attention to detail.... Then having to rebuild it again unless you're just lucky haha. College + bass budget is rough unless your parents pay your bills and for your car lmao. Swordlordboy1234
Parents pay some of my bills. But not all. I do have a decent amount of outgoing money and not enough incoming money on this $8 an hour job. I miss florida. 50+ an hour was so much better then 8. I am just waiting for that box to show up at my door step. I swear when it arrives im gonna lose my mind my gf is gonna get annoyed because it will be the topic of the night.
