why wall with 4 12's? don't the skar's like small boxes? seems like 4 15's is easily doable in a wall in an accord

nevertheless, seems like it gets down

They are pretty efficient on space yes... 1 cube sealed and 2 cubes ported for my ZVX 12.... I have a 4.x cube box kerfed port tuned to 31.xx... The reason I'm walling with 12's is because of 2 things.l.

1) I have 12's and won't have to recone. Plus the way the coils are I can strap 2 2500's at 2 ohm nominal (1ohm each amp) with my 4 d1 ZVX's so that works out good.

2) the 15's want much more airspace and I don't know if I want to give it up. I'm 6'3" and I like my seat really far back :) just sayin

i feel you on the seat back lol, i'm about the same height and in my explorer my seat is all the way back lol, couldn't deal with a wall

Well I'm hoping the wall will not be invasive to my seat. But I'm glad I'm not the only one with the seat all the way back.. Lol

hahahah you better start measuring from your seat all the way to the back because if you dont you will have a huge problem :P

I'm gonna measure when I have time, I think I'll be fine. When the seats are out I have a good ton of room. Hoping I can fit a 4th order with my seat exactly where it is now

Everything looks good man! What size port are you working with? Looks big! Not saying that's bad, just saying. I'm about to build one for 2 12's at 4" wide and that thing looks like it's more around 6 wide. Looking forward to more!

That's a kerfed port bro. It's actually less then 3 inches wide in the tunnel parts...but the inside you can see the flared port and the outside its a nice kerf painted black. The of section is prob 3 inches wide plus the 3 inch wide port. Take a second look. My box is less then 32 inches wide and that's the only way he could fit 2 12s flat and still fit a port

Now that I took a second look and searched through some of the pics, I do see the kerf now. Good one! Looks good, regardless! Can't wait to see the wall!

Working on it. Im thinking it will be done some time this summer. I gotta address the springs... then i gotta find 2 more zvx 12's d1coil that are in good condition... then another 2500.. then a nice bank of XS power... then the rest i can get pretty easy but those are the main things.

The front of the box looks good. Subs look beefy

Thanks bro, much appreciated. those subs are bad ass. today i was playing something that had to be below 20hz... and those subs with all that motor force pushed out the note. i was amazed. it wasnt hitting with authority.. but the fact that my subs would reproduce that effing low was kinda like a wow moment there.

Don't worry mr robin, you will see it soon enough. I'm gonna stack up the supplies I need and then some cash and ill have to take a quick trip to Florida when your not busy :) ....

I'm gonna work on the concept ideas more before I post them. My bad drawing skills on this iPad are embarrassing lol but I think it gets the idea across
