I figure that's about a year away from completion between the cost of the woofers, batteries, another 2500...and getting the cash I need to fab it up with robin.......... I'm doings a couple more things first.... Lots more deadener.. Some dual inputs... And I'm gonna flip the box around and try my luck at sealing it off.. I'm gonna use lots of blue painters tape, trash bags filled with great stuff foam and such to get the seal I'm looking for with out ruining my car interior. My big question is.... Which side should I put port on? I think I'm leaning on passenger side for port. I don't compete or put it on numbers and I was told port on opposite side of where you want it loudest.... Any one agree? Right now I'm asking about my current box with port on 1 side and the two subs next to it. I'm talking about flipping my box and sealing it off from the trunk, and I am asking which side should I look into having the port on for it to be louder to my ear. Driver or passenger side. Might port middle though too. So port driver side is louder for driver sealed off from the trunk? I see a lot of people port driver side to be louder on the meter (passenger side) ... But are you sure that is louder to the ear? With my current set up my port is facing the trunk lid along with the subs, but the port is on passenger side and its way louder by ear on driver side then passenger side. Could it be that way just because its facing the rear of the car not sealed off from the front? I'm asking this specifically because I'm not rebuilding my box. My next one will be a wall but until then I'm just doing things to work on being louder with that I have till I leave college and can start working again.
