With the ported box you are getting the front and rear wave of the sub whereas the sealed you are only getting the front wave and I am not sure if 1.15 ft^3 sealed per sub would give you the output you are looking for. I just switched my sister's single boston g110 that was in a 1ft^3 sealed box to a custom ported box 1.41ft^3 net (after port displacement) that was tuned to manufacture specs, and on the same power that sub went from tame and almost unnoticable to damn, are you sure that is the same sub?

The SA series is very clean and has dual farady shorting rings on the coils to reduce distortion, so they produce very clean tight strong bass in almost any enclosure. I have heard the E-series is awesome too, so I am sure you could even put 2 E-series in a properly tuned and ported enclosure and you would be happy.
