ok im new here but im not new to the sub world

ok im looking into putting a sundown sa-12 d4 or d2

but heres my problem i got about 700 bucks for my full system after the the sub and box im going to have 400

still need a head unit wiring and an amp

i have full alpine type r componet speakers form my old whip but nothing else

can i get some opinions on what amp and should i go with the 2 ohm or the 4 ohm dvc sa-12?

i didnt see it say anything if that was peak or rms and does the rating true up to its performance?

soryy im not to teriibly familiar with hifonics

I think one amp I've seen fairly commonly suggested to put on a single SA was the SoundQubed Q1-750... it's about $200 new and you could probably look for one cheaper if you're willing to go used http://www.soundqubed.com/Q1-750-Amplifier_p_46.html

it's a little more expensive than the hifonics but better quality too

Thanks I was pretty excited about the alt myself. kind of like a school girl, in a dress, on a swing. lol

It's warming up enough that the donut-punching cyclist douchenozzles are getting their two wheeled fagmobiles out.

It's a bit over rated on the rms, and yes that's rms. It's ok for the money.

if you are getting two subs get the D4, if you are getting 1, get a D2. Trust me, i made a mistake and i am still regretting it. i got two D2 subs and now i cant run @ 1ohm unless i buy two seperate amps. .5 ohms will risk your equipment and two find a amp that gives out the kind of power you need @ 2 ohms will be expensive.
