CNF Kevosinn
In my up coming build im planing to do a bunch of runs of 1/0 from my front to rear.....( at least 6 pos and neg). In my current car Ive got 2 runs off the alt to the front battery then 2 runs of positive and 2 runs of negative connecting the front batt to the rear bank. For my next build im adding way more power and I need to figure out the wiring mess! I was thinking to do 3 runs off alt to front batt then 3 to the rear bank. Then possibly 3 off the alternators to the rear bank to cover pos side. But for ground I dont think I can fit 6 grounds on the front battery from the rear bank plus the chassis and engine grounds....Could I do some grounds off the rear bank to the alternator bracket? Im going to be running about 15,000 watts off the rear bank. Any help would be appreciated thanks! *** SuperSeller Status Verified *** ( http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/25829-super-sellers-buyers/ ) "kevosinn's" astro van 8 custom Sundown Zv4 18's 4 Sundown scv 6000's CNF Distribution CNC parts Skyhigh wire some batteries SMD Meters and tools used on the installhttp://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/172877-kevosinns-vanwest-coast-skyhigh-car-audio-vehicle/ 16,000 watt walled silverado build.http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/161965-walled-silverado-4-hdc4-15s-4-crescendo-3500s-and-much-more/ 8,000 watt 1999 Subaru legacy outback. def loudness
For 5k watt...one run of 0ga +-should support it. Because one 0ga at 14.4 volts at 5k watts, your amp draw is 347amps....and one 0ga should support 150amp draw from a amp, found that at the12volt.com site. Hope that helps
