SPL oriented subs are built with the suspensions too tight. Are you planing to put up SPL numbers ?? (will make a BIG difference in planning your sub stage) Also, what are you looking like on your musical stage ??? And as amp a RF 1500 Bdcp, i wouldn´t pay the price for the JL Audio class D amp. Class D amp´s havent this warm in the sound like a class AB (there bad incase of bad efficiency). Difficult to find is a class GH technic amp, class GH combines the sound of class AB with the efficiency of class D, not so efficient like class D but near. My Musical Stage for now is 2 sets of Hertz HSK 165 powered off a Mosconi 100.4 and hopefully a Mosconi 6to8 Processor or a Bit One, and numbers doesnt really matter to me for this just want a real nice sounding system.
