89capricebass
i havnt messed with the gains yet. dont know much about it really. how do i set it correctly? You can set your gains with a dmm. There is a chart that walks you through it just google it. The best way to do it is to get a dd-1 or an o-scope Car: 2000 Ford Focus 4 door HU: Kenwood KDC-X395 Front Highs: stock Back Mids: Stock Subs: Skar VVX-12 ( 1.79 f3 tuned to 32 hz) Amp:Audiopipe APSM 1500 mini Wiring: KnuKoncepts Kolossus 4awg

stroupe79
clipping and prefab tuned to the 40s is not a good combo... I am sure a few people have run prefabs without problems, but also knew how to set gains or when you smell coil at volume 50 wont turn it up to 60... http://www.stevemead...cherokee-build/ 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee Alpine CDE-hd148bt Alpine PKG-RSE2 PRV Audio (4) 6MB200 front/rear doors PRV Audio (4) TW350Ti dash/rear doors Kicker KX350.4 Obsidian Audio (1) 18 D4 v2 revamp (2) Stereo Integrity HT 18d2DC Audio 1.2k5.25ft^3 tuned @34hz revamp Infinite Baffle Cpillar AudioTechnix 60mil deadenerKnuKonceptz & SkyHigh wire (complete setup)
TrunkMuzik
its not like i bought kickers cause they were badass. i know what im getting. and they are fine for an $80 set to play with and sell to some kid for the same price. but that doesnt really help with my question Without music, life would be an error
Kranny
you dont reset gains when you install new woofers. you only reset gains if you change source units, aka a headunit or eq.
stroupe79
prefab isn't helping the situation! $80 for a month old pair of subs in a box. dont expect too much lol and my JL is in the HO prefab and its badass lol yet you want to compare it to 2 CVR 10s... http://www.stevemead...cherokee-build/ 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee Alpine CDE-hd148bt Alpine PKG-RSE2 PRV Audio (4) 6MB200 front/rear doors PRV Audio (4) TW350Ti dash/rear doors Kicker KX350.4 Obsidian Audio (1) 18 D4 v2 revamp (2) Stereo Integrity HT 18d2DC Audio 1.2k5.25ft^3 tuned @34hz revamp Infinite Baffle Cpillar AudioTechnix 60mil deadenerKnuKonceptz & SkyHigh wire (complete setup)
