Amalan
Shit, if your saying fwd is four wheel drive then my bad. Cause FWD means FRONT wheel drive, 4WD means 4 wheel drive. I'm not sure if there 4WD or just RWD. no im saying fwd as in front wheel drive. the new escalades i thought were four wheel drive i didnt know you could get them in rear wheel drive. it seems kinda stupid to have an suv with just rwd imo the only thing i could see having rwd is the ext and srx since its a weird crossover that i havent seen anyone buying. the new escalade and esv i guess are rwd with option of 4wd? RWD suv is kinda pussy imo.
audiofanaticz
my sts is front wheel drive, and so are the newer ones I drove, 2002 seville sts fwd http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Cadillac-Se...sspagenameZWDVW 2002 deville. fwd. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Cadillac-De...sspagenameZWDVW 2002 deville fwd. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Cadillac-De...enameZWDVW' 2007 deville dts fwd http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Cadillac-De...sspagenameZWDVW The 2007 cts v6 is a rear wheel drive (but not a northstar engine). http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Cadillac-CT...sspagenameZWDVW The 2005 cts with the 5.7l ls6 and a 6speed manual transmissions are rwd also to put it simple, the northstar (4.6l-4.9l) engine is a front wheel drive engine. So any caddiac car that was made since 1989-2002+ with a northstar v8 will be front wheel drive. The cadillac catera(sp) is a v6 cadillac, but still FWD. The cadillac XLR ARE REAR WHEEL DRIVE like what meade drove. The cadillac SRX that someone mentioned is a SUV that is smaller then a escalade, they are awd or rwd. 2004 srx v8 rwd http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Cadillac-SR...sspagenameZWDVW 2007 srx v6 awd http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Cadillac-SR...sspagenameZWDVW So this comming from a guy that has owned cadillacs (not always the best ones) his hole life knows. Sorry to burn you. And yes the 2003 deville is a STOCK fwd car. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Cadillac-De...sspagenameZWDVW

If you really get one, be careful. as shown by chevyboy's post, teenagers+ high HP cars= bad Idea. Until you drive it every day, you dont know the temptation you are going to have to drive it balls out. Funrob
I know this post is pretty dead. I actually own a 04 s600 with the v12 he originally asked about. I've been actually contemplating this swap for 2 reasons. 1.)300c offers awd. 2.) For the cost of repairing my suspension I could get a used 300c. So far I've found that these cars share a transmission and up until 2011 the 300c use mbz wiring harnesses. I'm thinking with a tune I could pull a 0-60 in a solid 4.0 or possibly lower. Plus awd means year round driving which my car currently doesn't enjoy. This 10yr old thread had the most response but it seemed to just be a question of why you would do it. For the record my v12 gets better gas mileage than the hemi. It is 493hp and 590lbs baseline.

You realize that just because something can fit in somewhere doesnt mean its just that easy to get it working. It would cost you a fortune to make this happen. Probably aftermarket suspension options out there that will save you a lot of money over the factory stuff for the s600. But hey, if you got the money and or the know how to make it happen I say go for it, and make sure you start a thread and post tons of pics because we'd all love to see it. That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals. BP1Fanatic
Wow, I can't believe it took 9 pages for someone to state that the 300C/Charger/Challenger are all 1999 MB E-classes. If you were to perform a V12 swap, then you should start with a MB V12 like Funrob stated. 2000 Toyota Solara SEV6, 200 amp alternator, Jensen VX7020, Hifonics American Warrior Taurus X, Hifonics American Warrior Centurion X, JBL Club 6500C, Power Acoustik XP2K-4102, Coustic Power Logic HT-612 in a BP4.
