Carbon
My shipment of Secondskin is coming in today, Its currently 35˚ outside, Is it too cold to install it? I was thinking of using a heatgun possibly.
Nate Futuristic
My shipment of Secondskin is coming in today, Its currently 35˚ outside, Is it too cold to install it? I was thinking of using a heatgun possibly. i installed my friends damp pro pack a few years ago in 30 degree weather just make sure to clean surfaces with acetone (or alcohol ) and use a roller heat gun if you need too but i think it will be fine shit i just installed my audio technix 60 mill (no where near the quality of secondskin in 28 degree weather and its got a good bond already) Quote down rpping vanderbilt. 30 miles from victoria. i own the 3rd loudest setup here out of 3. but i did put together all 3 setups ^^ Cant wait to swalllow Ghost's babies
Mikey Bates
i ws putting in some damp by Knukoncepts and its was roughly the same temp, all i did was take a hairdryer and heated up the metal for a bit, minute or two. stuck it on and did it again and then rolled down good....use heat lol
Swordlordboy1234
I didn't clean any of my surfaces in my car whatsoever (they were decently clean as it sits) and I installed the first layer in Florida (80degreese) and the second layer in 30 degrees here in Texas. All of it holds great. That was audio Technix 60 mil. I'm sure second skin being that it is a better product will be fine installed in that Quote My old YouTube channel : http://www.youtube.com/user/SwordLords1234?feature=mhee My old build log : http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/161872-96-accord-b2-sundown-sky-high-dc-power-re-re-build-for-heatwave/page-37 My New Build - http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/207041-2016-mazda-6-sql-build/ 2016 Mazda 6 Touring JL Fix 86 - OEM signal correction B2 prototype DSP 6to8 B2 Ref63 - 3 way active set 2 B2 Class H quattro's 1 B2 Zero.5R @.5 2 B2 HNv3 12 d2 B2 SLIP40 - Lithium in the trunk Northstar Group 35 under the hood 100ft 2/0 welding cable 30ft 4ga welding cable 20ft 8ga welding cable All stinger OFC speaker wire Soundrive custom RCA's Tons of attention to detail.... Leo1103
I didn't have a roller when I did my deadening, I just used a tennis ball/ lacrosse ball. If you use the tennis ball make sure you put a decent amount of pressure on it Quote 2002 Honda CR-VAlpine 9887My BuildRebuilding...
