i love it. i do like the look of the basket, but i think the spokes either need to be thicker or you need more of them. either, its an awesome job. if you ever did make them, i would love to buy one, but there would be no way i could afford a custom 18 as a college student. anyways, great work.

thank you. in this project so far i have about 60hrs of work between dimensioning tweaking and assembling. by the time it is fully done i think there will be close to 70hrs of work put in it. i wish i could add some tinsel leads, direct leads and other small things but idrk how to

Ok guys, its been a while. just got back from spring break and had time to work on this. Upgraded the basket to a 10 spoke design, 5 groups of 2. Added tinsel leads/terminals, beefed up the surround. what you guys think? please leave any other feedback you guys have.

Have you given any thought towards gusseting between the spokes for added strength? Maybe gusset the entire length, then machine your "CC C" logo in each? Frame strength would go up greatly...and look BA too. Just a thought.

Basket still seems a little weak.. I mean check out how beefy sundowns new frame is and they use that even on the new x-line.

And sorry im sounding like a sundown nuthugger but they just have the strongest frame that I could think of. That and ti baskets but thats already been mentioned
