DVBin916 Posted May 26, 2013 Report Share Posted May 26, 2013 Wishing y'all had this when I ordered my 360 6phase alt I had to hook up my own voltage meter with the provided knob for the voltage regulator! That's the way it goes when you jump on the new shit. You miss out on the upgrades!! Oh well adapt and overcome... Love my Mechman.... Are there any advantages in buying this over just upgrading your alt besides price? What I'm trying to figure out is are you gaining anything as far as power for your amplifier since the alternator will still put out the same amperage? I'm not up on the volt/amps which is why I'm asking. It seems like just increasing voltage wouldn't really do much since your not increasing the amperage that's going into your amplifier.
