Smoove Posted April 27, 2014 Report Share Posted April 27, 2014 Unfortunately no the AVBM will not work on a stock alternator Does this mean I have to have a Mechman Alt to use an AVBM / AVBM II in my 1996 C1500 5.7 silverado? dharris2488 Posted June 24, 2014 Report Share Posted June 24, 2014 Just want to make sure the regular AVBM, with set screw will work on my Toyota Camry 2013 with a S Series Mechman 240amp alt? This won't fry any of my internal electronics will it? I would LOOOOOVVVVEEEE to actually see above 13.5 volts in my car!!! So frustrating... I'm talking about buying the original AVBM, not this one with the dial and volt meter. Will someone chime in and let me know if it will work? Thanks!
