AmmoJammo
Having seen quite a few slot ports with 1inch round overs, and hating it, I thought I'd start a thread specifically for how I flared mine, so, hopefully, if someone is looking for ideas, they'll find this thread when searching Basically, used PVC pipe, recessed into the panel so it sits flush, with an MDF 45 on the inside to reinforce the panel. Meaning, you're only limited by the size of the PVC pipe you can find this is a 3inch radius (6inch PVC pipe) I also sanded/filed the inside ends after the first two pics. Pasta Prime
I like it man good idea for someone that doesnt want to kerf. How are you going to finish the box? AmmoJammo
by doing the PVC flares, it means you can remove and paint them, and vinyl or carpet the box, without having an edge at the start of the flare. although I never planned to do this, so didn't give more clearance for the carper thickness, but you get the idea Box is tuned to about 36Hz.
