Hunters21w
If you can power a v3, you can power a v4. 1.25" difference isn't too bad. You can't clear that extra depth? jonnylowkon
Yea clearance is really close with the space I have avalible .. And I can power the v3 better than the extra power a v4 would need.. I really talked it out with my box guy and agree the v3 would be best for my application and tight space I have to work with Quote 250 amp mechman alt Sundown 100.4D Sundown 1500v2 now goin to the cruze Sundown ZV3 12d2 Sundown sa6.5cs X2 Kenwood X597 Trying something new 2011 Chevy Cruze X8 1500v2

TRTC360
I would personally get the zv4 if time isn't an issue. They're def an upgrade to the v3. iirc jacob said they aren't an upgrade from the v3 as far as numbers goes Quote '93 Firebird Formula V8 H/U- Kenwood eXcelon KDC-X395 Mids/Highs Amp- Hifonics ZXI80.4 Wiring-KNU RCA's, Speaker Wire, And Two Runs Of Trystar 1/0 G34 Red Top and a 180amp Ford Alternator www.youtube.com/TRTC360
Thumpersplbassx
The prototype 12" Z4 has a single saz 3500 on it. The 1500v2 will be great for a pair of sa subs. The x,z, and ns line needs a 2500, 3500 or a ns-1 to power them. KyleMJackson
Johnnylowkon your 1500v2 does close to 1800rms and the Zv4 will be 1750rms the NSv3 will be 2250rms the X-Series will be around 750 to 1000rms the SA-v2 is 600rms so you should be okay to run either the Zv3 or Zv4
jonnylowkon
Yea I can supply 14volts all day long so I expect at least 1800 out of the 1500v2 . But again I only have room for one sub so why not a z sub... They're def an upgrade to the v3.iirc jacob said they aren't an upgrade from the v3 as far as numbers goes I was mainly referring to the additional xmax, that will help for music purposes. Obviously a lower FS won't help for high frequency burps. However, he can build recones that can be geared toward that. It's just an overall better design, period.
