They don't seem to be as loud as I thought, My SPG seems alot louder. I have each sub wired to a SK 1500.1D. I have a box designed by RAM-Designs 7.1ft^3 tuned to 30hz via a 15.75"x6" port. IDK what subs those are so speculation here..but maybe they were being given over rated power where as on the ZVX's you are giving them RMS... When I had my zvx18...I had 2.5k waiting for it. CommonSyns Posted March 19, 2013 Author Report Share Posted March 19, 2013 The SPG was powered by a Alpine-MRP-1000 the birth sheet said it was getting a little over 1100 watts like 1160 or so at 2 ohms. The Spg is rated at 1000 watts RMS at 2 ohm. It was a Boston Acoustics SPG.
