Kranny Posted April 2, 2013 Report Share Posted April 2, 2013 if headunit low pass is set to 80hz, just keep the amp crossover up above 80hz. headunit will take care of it. you blew subs because clipping. clipping because improper settings. improper settings because user doesn't have proper testing equipment. you'll keep blowing subs until properly tuned. no that doesn't mean just turning knobs willy nilly. you still need a subsonic filter for a sealed box lol....
