ok after watching countless vids on yt and reading threads i come here to ask.

so when checking head unit for distortion should i have the sub levels up ?

everything else is flat

when setting gain on sub amp i turn everything up but the gain is this cirrect

Set the sub level where you need it for it to detect the 40hz signal. If flat works, then leave it there. If it doesn't detect 40hz then turn it up to get more voltage to your RCA's.

Know what I mean mayne?

ok well i did read the manual

i had some issues yesterday but that was a stupid mistake

i was just asking to make damn sure i did it right

i did it again and got a little dif number for max volume but end result was gain ended up the same .
