DC Audio in my girls Altima Coupe

Recommended Posts

Sup fellas. Just got started on doing a little system for my girls vehicle. It's an 08 Altima Coupe. Fun little car but it's missing something... Bass. I had 2 DC lvl 2 8's laying around so decided I'd throw them in there for her on a 1.2K. I'm not going for a loud setup in this but more of a clean install for her. It's going to have a plexi window with white led's in the box. vinyle wrapped trim panels with a purple suede insert around subs. Has been a fun little project so far and she's really excited. Enjoy!

Starting of the box. I know port isn't ideal but had to compromise for the plexi window.

Top is 1/2 mdf due to room restraints. These trunks are tiny!

Forgot to add these up. Here's the sketchup design I did for it. Front and rear trim panels won't be square, will fit contours of trunk.

very nice for putting a system in your girl's car man. My girl likes my system too and wants something in her car also so I was thinking just like an SA-8..... but I like where you are going instead :P

you have a laser engraver guy???

Thanks fellas. I do have a guy that can do laser etching for me but I'm just gonna do an etched decal on the inside of the plexi. That way you can't feel it but the led's inside will grasp on it and make the decal pop

Tibby's retired lol. Everything's ripped out and it's sitting in the back lot of my dad's shop for time being.

and she wanted a little "sparkle" to it so came up with this. Not a huge fan of it but she absolutely loves it so that's all that matters right?

That's it for now. Was helping my buddy with his blazer mostly tonight. As always, stay tuned and hope you enjoy!
