Hotdog
You should do a troll style video. Test my 2350 and halfway through do like a rick roll of you testing the BOSS amp and watching it go up in smoke. lol. And is this better for my sig? sorry it was too long. Or just hide a smoke machine on the test bench so when he makes a vid testing someone's amp he can turn it on, the smoke will roll and Steve can say "Sorry Bro" Then go into a rick roll. anyway Steve as always great work .. I seriously have to put you on my bucket list. kickass audio
After the things that ppi has been through i strongly doubt it will be up in smoke. I would never believe meade if he called me and said my amp blew up on him. And you can wait to do the testing. I know you are working on that Chevelle you have and everything else. Im not in any hurry to get it tested. Im not in any hurry to get it tested. the thing is, i HOPE that doesn't happen. There is risk involved. Just like taking your car to the dyno and running it balls to the wall. Shit CAN break. When i officially start charging for this service, i will ONLY test down to the lowest recommended ohm loads, from the manufacturer. Unless someone tells me, in writing, at their own risk, i prob wont drop down lower then i am supposed to. The Boss amp probably won't blow up. I don't think it will do 1200w. I will test it like any other brand and see for myself. Hope for the best! 1 Quote All SMD products + MORE available at my store here! https://wccaraudio.com/ Subscribe to My Youtube Channel! kickass audio
Im confident in you Steve. You aren't a fool and know how to monitor things before they can go wrong. At most mine will get very warm as all a/b amps tend to do and the fan will kick on but thats really all it ever does when I hammer on the amp. TRON
Will you have to manually switch between different voltages? Or are you going to think of some clever way to flick a switch for different voltages? That would be wicked. Nathan Daniel Galen
I wish the boss amp would blow, but sadly it's so shitty it would probably just distort heavily or pop the fuse, I think it's funny as hell when they try to say some bullshit that their amps will do 1200 @ 4 ohms with only 2 25 amp fuses, even if you went against logic (which would probably annoy D'amore) and proposed the amp was 100% efficient, it couldn't even do that @ 16 volts
