KiKaZz74
You should definitely test out some hifonics brutus amps. Ppl say they are shit but I'm proud of mine. Taken a bit of abuse and works fine. Test like the middle one like 1600watts. Please. Very nice machine tho. I love what it can do. Get "output" by using the "clamp" methog...., and lets see how far off that method of testing is VS the dyno....... ????? 2 Quote SMD SUPER SELLER The Burban Build Blazer Build sold Acura trunk build sold
purplesyrup
These shitty amp companies need to just start putting 100,000,000 watts on all the amps. Its no different than them putting 1200 watts on it. We need a shit amp specific bench press thread. To call out all thse junk amp companies the the huge wattage claims

TonyD'Amore
Side note: The maximum theoretical power that an amplifier could produce at full clipping (square wave) is double the clean RMS. In the real world it is usually about 30-50% more. So an amp that does 50 watts per channel clean could put out 65-75 watts clipped and distorted to hell. However, the peak SPL wouldn't increase by this same amount, if at all.

TonyD'Amore
The only exception I've ever seen is the T15kW because the power supply's ridiculous capabilities. The power supply can deliver over 200,000 watts for 1 second, or 2 million watts for 100 milliseconds. It would do 16,000+ clean and 26,000+ fully clipped Edited May 20, 2013 by TonyD'Amore
