Homemade Super-Neo Woofer: THE CHEVELLE RESTORATION IS DONE, dampener recommendations??

Recommended Posts

alright after getting MAJORLY sidetracked (ADHD FTW) I had to keep working on the re-finishing of my front door, and I normally avoid it but this time for time's sake I bought a 2-in-1 stain/polyurethane, and I hate the way it came out so I had to sand it down and go buy some normal clear coat and I worked on that all day.

But I got all the materials finally, and I have the MDF all drawn up and marked, so tomorrow I'm gonna cut and route all the basket pieces and assemble them.

My goal is to have it completely finished (structurally) by tomorrow. if not then tuesday morning will be the last few things before I power it up.

Fucking love Alan you goddamned fucking super nerd lol

When Alan uses big words I don't understand

It's warming up enough that the donut-punching cyclist douchenozzles are getting their two wheeled fagmobiles out.

Everytime I see a guy driving a mini cooper I cant help but think he loves cock & (2/29/16)-My wife just bitched at me about throwing out things we don't really use. My response of well we don't really use your vagina so should we throw that out was evidently not the right response. I had to leave the room.

I missed Alan.

RIP 5/29/15 - I love you son.

I'm going to fill it in with locktite PL premium, it should keep it rigid.I'll also probably use that for the spider.

for spider you can use rubber tarp straps, or lots of big rubber bands.

Teflon sheeting is a good idea around the neo's to avoid the coil sliding against them if alignment is an issue.

MickyMcD - "Capable of making some serious trouser flapping volumes at where's-my-testicles frequencies, the Servo-Drives used to be fairly jaw dropping..."

Any time you have have a power wire next to your frame put some rubber hosing (or cut up an innertube) around it. The wire is bound to wiggle (due to driving or flex) and the casing will eventually wear through.
