Recommended Posts

I purchased two of them waiting for them to come in they will be in my daily driver but I also compete in spl and db drag. Just wondering what these bad boys can handle on a daily from someone at dc or a previous or current owner I have heard you can put two 1200.1s to each but jus wondering what people have done and got away with and numbers try put up at comp. thanks a lot I'm just stepping up to bigger stuff I have done 138.7 on music with two type r 12s in my scion Xb. Upgrading alternator and sound deadend the whole car and upgrading all speakers and amping them il be at the comp in June in sac. Still trying to figure out what box to build for my scion

Umm, putting 2400 rms to a 600 rms sub never sounds like a good idea.

I have used level 2 on many amps it would sound good from 300RMS each till 1200RMS each, they can handle more, we just put one on 1500 and he took it but started getting hot after several minutes.

I would stick to CJ18 recommendations.

Here's one score of it in 3cf box with single 6" port on 1500w:
