Skullz Posted June 2, 2013 Report Share Posted June 2, 2013 Everyone seems to have their own formula of how to go about that task, and a large battery bank is a must with that much power and the amount of alternator comes down to what can you get fabricated to make it all fit. tacomaguy1 Posted June 2, 2013 Report Share Posted June 2, 2013 Strapping at .5 will be .25 each amp...don't do it I ran 2 5500's strapped at 1.3 so .65 each amp DC 270xp with a 3100 under the Hood and 6 3100s in the back. It did OK, I could get it into the lower 12s after a song or two. Ideally with 10k+ you'd want 2 alts.
