It's a beast, shipping weight was 35lbs.

It cranks out some power too.

Them sexy guts.

I just realized these amps look small with nothing for scale, so for size reference the Memphis amp is 30.3" wide.

These are the two most powerful 5 channel amps you can get, period.

Amp is in amazing condition too, has a few scuffs on the plexiglass which is no big deal to me and for the price I paid I couldn't be happier,

Super excited to get my hands on this beast.

That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals.

that's a beastly 5 channel. didn't realize you could get that much out of one amp.

You can but you gotta pay for it,

The Memphis amp retails for $900 or so and the Phoenix gold retails for $1,700.

The Memphis amp isn't quite as powerful on the 4 channel side.

The Phoenix gold also utilizes some better internals as well such as burr brown op amps.

Burr Brown is not technically really the best, people just think it is because its a name brand that has been said over and over through the years.

I know Alpine use to brag up and down about their Burr Brown dacs in the headunits. I know my cda-117 is still burr brown, but their newer models are just nameless.

Im pretty sure the Pioneer 80prs is still using burr brown, but the 99prs is using akm.

Either way Im sure Burr Brown is going to be better than the nameless opamps that are stuffed into many other amps, and that is a rock solid amp that you have on your hands!
