I think it's time to clean out the hard drive....

Capture_zps850d59ed.jpg

I think your computer is broken? It says GB instead of TB. :D

And srp, is there any truth to the idea that the eco-friendly ones are usually less reliable than the normal ones? I remember seeing that a lot from people, but they might be full of it and it might have changed since then.

And can that really be 2 TB for $88? just 1 year ago my 2 TB cost almost $160.........what a deal man!

The only spec related to endurance I know of is Uncorrectable ReadErrorRate which is like 10^14 reads, you have to go to enterprise level to get 10^15 and some I've seen rate at 10^16.

I haven't had one WD drive I've owned ever fail. I use them at work and only the ones that are used in the School bus DVRs we build ever seem to die, after a couple of years in 110° temp swing, humidity swing, and diesel/road vibration, do I ever see more than 5% failure rate.

Toshiba, Hitachi, and Seagate can gfy's

2007 Pacifica
Rebuild. Less quiet. Still not loud.

thanks. Yeah my seagate barracuda was the first hdd I ever had fail after 7 years. bought a hitachi "deathstar" desk-star because it was cheap. works great so far though.

seems like no one can agree on which company is best. I seemed to notice WD as more reliable from the reviews and stuff.

Fucking love Alan you goddamned fucking super nerd lol

When Alan uses big words I don't understand

It's warming up enough that the donut-punching cyclist douchenozzles are getting their two wheeled fagmobiles out.

Everytime I see a guy driving a mini cooper I cant help but think he loves cock & (2/29/16)-My wife just bitched at me about throwing out things we don't really use. My response of well we don't really use your vagina so should we throw that out was evidently not the right response. I had to leave the room.

I missed Alan.

RIP 5/29/15 - I love you son.

meh... motors o.k I guess........

(p.s: in all honesty though, I'm not crazy about the thin half-roll surround they put on it, it doesn't seem to fit with the aura of such a powerful earth shaking woofer lol)

:D
