So noone would contemplate why until that point. If every time a suicide happens a person is left to grieve, then they happen at the same rate. Once every forty seconds. It doesn't matter how long it takes for the person to find the body. There're 86,400 seconds in a day. Every 40 seconds is 2160. Every 41 seconds is 2107. So if one happens every 40 seconds, and one happens every 41 seconds there are 53 less people grieving per day than suicides. We can't have that.
