Even though the car was not following the rules of the road that slower traffic stays right and that the left lane is a passing lane doesn't give the person drive a truck the right to make a pit maneuver taking out the guy in the car which could possibly end his life along with anyone else in that car, or the car in the other lane that almost got struck by the crashing car and the truck... Not to mention the fact that tailgating is also illegal. Its simple. Guy cockblocking the left lane kind of a jerk, but not technically illegal, per se. But the hemorrhoid intentionally caused an accident. The guy in the truck is 100% at fault. If you ran a guy off the road because he was speeding, or changed lanes without signalling, the law would call the same fault. IMO its vehicular assault, because of intent. Around here left lane camping is illegal. Not enforced at all though. Shitty move, yes. But let's be honest who hasn't thought of doing that? And yes, I've thought about it, but when it comes down to it, intentionally trying to near-kill someone and also wreck their car isn't really a fair punishment for annoying you on the road.
