Everyone says 1st gens are weak. idk tbh. i have a couple leads on 8.8 center sections. They aren't too bad if you don't beat on them in first gear. I don't think it has the 1st gen 1st gen diff. I think it has a 1st gen 3/4 gen diff. They put 4 different series of diff's in the 04-07 cars.
