Security isn't having the greatest day at my work lol. This is all of our security team's company vehicles.

Back story?

Night shift security chick claimed the power steering and brakes both failed at the same time and she hit doing 10-15mph. Rumor says she dozed off at the other end of the lot and crashed doing more like ~40. Head of facilities called in an outside firm to investigate it, they were there when I left with some surveying equipment studying the crash.

Engine could have stalled, would explain loss of power steering, should have had some reserve vacuum for brakes but who knows. Would have had to be flying to move that many cars that far, or driving a dump truck...

Krakin, are you some sort of mad scientist?

I would have replied earlier, but I was measuring the output of my amp with a yardstick . . .

What you hear is not the air pressure variation in itself

but what has drawn your attention

in the two streams of superimposed air pressure variations at your eardrums

An acoustic event has dimensions of Time, Tone, Loudness and Space

Everyone learns to render the 3-dimensional localization of sound based on the individual shape of their ears,

thus no formula can achieve a definite effect for every listener.
