Omega5002
Where are you grounding your amp? because I have a 2013 kia sorento and I can't seem to find a ground. I've hooked everything up and get a heartbeat noise from my subwoofer. I can't figure it out. I'm planing on grounding my amplifiers to the 2nd battery, which is grounded via to the frame, and a negative run from the starter battery. You are probably getting noise because the newer model Sorentos are a unibody car while I have the first generation Sorento with a truck frame. I don't know much about the new Sorento's, so I really can't help there :/ 2003 Kia Sorento Team Subsonic LowsTeam Bassin' on a Budget2016 Rebuild Under Construction Best score: 150.2 at 40hz (3k, 2 Custom HDC3 15's) Usaci style(door open, in the kick)
Omega5002
Just an update, did some few thingsFirst off, bought a voltmeter, and some switches for the coin holder, which I don't have to modify or drill, already a hole behind it to run wireAlso decided to install another fuse holder for the positive run for the 2nd batteryAlso installed some better aluminum battery terminals to have a better secure installation for the wires since the stock terminals wasn't 100% secure, though had to use one of my battery terminals for the stock positive connection due to the fuse box, and it couldn't fit on the terminalAnd the biggest part of this update, some tweeters that SLAYER1805 sent to me A pair of Ascendant Audio Havoc tweeters, which will go on stock location 2003 Kia Sorento Team Subsonic LowsTeam Bassin' on a Budget2016 Rebuild Under Construction Best score: 150.2 at 40hz (3k, 2 Custom HDC3 15's) Usaci style(door open, in the kick)
