2003 Kia Sorento Build log (Pair of Team AA 15's in and playing)

Update, installed my Stinger voltmeter

I like it so far, and I like the adjustable knob on it for more accurate voltage

Oh yeah, finally got my Silverflute mids in, and damn, these guys are beefy, and very well made, especially for a $30 speaker

Were the mids $30 per or for the set?

$30 per speaker at Madisound, worth every penny though, very nicely built speaker, big magnet, cast iron basket, and a wool cone for great response. I love them so far.

Alright cool stuff. Next time i go to my dads ill check. How do they handle bass though? I play alot of decaf/rap and some ADTR type stuff. And its pretty rare that the volume is at what others would consider acceptable

If free airing in the doors, I wouldn't play them below 60hz, plus in order to get bass out of these mids, you would have to build an enclosure for them.

It would be mainly midbass But i dont think they would work very well for me. The camaro isnt guna get very loud just a single 10 or 12( gota have room for t tops) so probly a component set that will sound good off deck power will be what i settle on

These do get good midbass, even free air, though you meant bass(50hz and down) lol, and these have a db sensitivity 91.5db, so they would sound good on headunit power.
