Who sent you blocks?

I know they wouldnt NOT have been 'Used" blocks if they came from the source.. period.

The ones in your pic, to me, make me wonder if they are in fact SHCA blocks??!!??!

They came from a dealer of Sky High. Would you like me to take a picture with the top with their logo on it, as I did in the first picture?

"Clipping" is the biggest forum boner now. It's like witchcraft... it automatically explains just about everything people don't understand.

A dealer?

Who?

Jim...?

Dre? is this legit ?

Ill back off..

Those are SHCA blocks not sure of the discoloration but they are not used if they were shipped from us. We all know Jon better than that it's just a misunderstanding. OP took a shot in the dark taking a shot and saying he was shipped used blocks though.

That guy is an idiot. Incriminator, American bass, audioque, and sky high are cookie cutter fly by night brands. It's why I stay away from ca, lol. So useless now

Tell me...does this smell like chloroform to you?

I have used many style fuse holders of that style with no ring terminal, various Stingers, tsunami, xscorpin, to name a few, and have seen similar markings on them. Im assuming it comes from the die casting/extrusion of the product being made. Unless you are also a Diecast specialist just like a copper specialist?

This was my initial thoughts. Ive never seen a used block that didnt have marks showing it was used. either on the screws or something like that. it also looks like the reducer rings are in them and it might be that

Yeah, I don't like the fact Jon is being slandered in 2 threads like this, best dude I have dealt with online period, no comparisons. The discoloration looks like from casting, for $12 fuse holders I doubt these are machined.

Here yet, even better questions to show that the OP is full of shit!

Let alone, why would you solder wire into a terminal block which uses a setscrew to secure the wire in place?

If you where to solder the wire into the fuse block for whichever reason, then why is there zero discoloring on the outside metal of the fuse blocks from being heated up to melt the solder?

Also, if these where in fact used fuse blocks then why is there no flux residue anywhere on the inside or outside of fuse blocks?

Better yet, why is the solder only at the far end of the fuse block, and not anywhere else in the hole that you insert the wire into?

Also knowing to solder large amounts of solder for 1/0 or larger gauge ring terminals, you need to use some sort of a torch such as propane, or map gas, the metal would have to be hot enough to melt solder which has a higher melting point then plastic. So why is the plastic not melted on the bottom of the fuse holders?

You sir have been dismissed!
