I did not do the voltages with car running tonight, I did not have the help I needed at that point. The topic was not meant to be inflammatory whatsoever. But if the BATT is not getting recharged properly, then it could point to the alt, no? Lbox88 Posted June 24, 2013 Report Share Posted June 24, 2013 13.1 resting with those numbers for dropping while the car off is normal, you're not really losing anything from front to back, so sounds like the alt has been charging your battery just fine. These D3400 run stereos, by themselves, a Hell of a lot bigger than this 900 watt'er. Folks are right, recharging the batt is crucial, & if the alt is not doing that as efficiently as it is supposed to, then there is the problem. I should have waited before posting, or at least re-thought my approach with what I had. There should be no drops with what I am doing/equipment I have ... nothing this "semi-severe" ...
