Kenny Clark
Just wondering if anyone who has a Skar amp has had any probs with the bass knob?? Had my system up and running for a month or so and all of a sudden the bass knob has started to go all crazy. It will be all the way down and BOOM go to full tilt. If I reach down and ever so slightly move the knob in any direction it goes back to normal. Also when I'm driving and say its at 1/2 or whatever, it will jump from wherever it is to full tilt then back. Luckily I have another knob off my 85.4 I'm gonna put on but jw if anyone else has had this issue. Almost seems like there is a loose connection inside the mechanism. ChevyBoy95
Would personally ditch those and get an lc1 x2 LC-1 over stock bass knob/gain knob any day. if something goes wrong it is also just a 20 dollar replacement, rather than sending an amp in due to some failure in either the knob or the actual input to the amp where it plugs in. edit: plus with an LC-1 you can completely cut the bass off if need be. ChevyBoy95
btw, ive had the same shit happen on Soundstream amps, AQ amps, and more. Just a shitty design i guess. Pac LC has never done me wrong, have the same knob i bought about a year ago and it still works like a champ. Kenny Clark
Forgot to mention...Noob here. Lol. Could you just go into a little more depth on what a PAC lc1 is. I mean I get that it's a bass knob....just who makes it...where would I find it. Thanks.
