john253a
What I like to do is cover the box in a 2-3 thin coats of resin and sand it flat Working my way up to 800-1000grit wet/dry Then I paint it with normal car paint Either in a can or gun(I use gun) Normally 8 coats colour (if soild colour as no clear is required) If a no soild colour 6 colour, sand with 1200 8 clear and sand with 4000 The cut/polish as you with a car

KiKaZz74
Check my thread. I did satin exterior paint and just added some play sand. Id do paint. Sprinkle sand. Paint over. Do 2+ of that and ull be good. If I did it again id find some finer sand so the texture isnt so rough. Right now its like 60 grit lol. Aim for about 120 160 grit. Or carpet to match ur vehicles carpet. What I really want to do is clear. A solid plexi/lexan box with some etching. Paint box a solid color or do a design. And paint port a diff color. Sky highs splatter paint. Paint solid and shoot at it with a paintball gun. Oh and your Dakota looks pretty nice! Looks like we're gonna be running close to the same setup once I get all my stuff in the next few weeks haha FI BL18 Build Log: CLICK HERE!! 2003 Explorer Sport: FI BL18 SoundQubed 2200 at 0.7ohm Pioneer DEH-2500UI Pioneer 6 x 8s Rockford Fosgate 6 x 9s 5 ft^3 box at 35hz Lots of Mega Mat
