No they do. All car audio wire is "oversized" past AWG specs.

I have some install bay 1/0 terms that are smaller than that, Ill get a pic of the tiny bastards tomorrow

lololol install bay. what a joke of a wiring company.

i paid like $60 for their 4 gauge kit. used it on my old hifonics.

got a Knu 8 gauge kit for like $30 or something. literally had the same exact amount of copper in it as the install bay.

Its really due to the AWG scale for home that will fit but for car audio they make wire over exceeding so that the wire is bigger that ring terminal will fit House Electrical 1/0
