Just curious, but is it possible to have one of these upgraded to handle the higher output amps of today? I notice it only goes up to 24kw in mono mode, figured I'd ask if the internals can be beefed up to handle more than twice that power or if it's just not possible or safe to do? Like measuring the 50kw Taramp.

Seriously though, how many amps go above 24,000 watts?? The additional cost of the needed resistors prob doesn't make sense. I'm not gonna answer your question as I'll leave that for Tony D

There's a few out there, just figured I'd ask. Currently we can only clamp them to see what they're doing, and the astron meters only show what their draw is, so we're stuck going by what the manufacturer says their efficiency is when calculating approximate output. Testing a 50kw amp with clamps never yields the same result the same time, even using the high end clamps. :)
