I have two VM1 one wired to front battery and second one directly into amp. When I turn truck on at the moment its cranking for a second it flickers but all audio is off. Can some one explain what is happening or if it's OK or is there something wrong. Thanks in advance.

im gueesing its connected to the rest of your electrical system. alts n such so fluctuating voltage on start up seems normal.

Your starter pulls a large amount of current for a few seconds... And that is what you see the flicker...

  • 2 weeks later...

What is the turn on wire hooked up to? Lots of vehicles will disable auxiliary electronics at the moment of cranking
