Batterys draining quuuuuick

Recommended Posts

Look for a charger with a "desulfation" mode.

Helps recondition the battery.

Otherwise it might be toast...

What's the voltage as its charging?

Just FYI many chargers that do this simply overcharge the battery. Which is fine for a flooded battery, but not too great on a sealed AGM

To be honest you'll need something a fair bit more substantial than a 1 amp charge if you want to charge it in any reasonable amount of time. The charger that you have is for topping off batteries, not charging flat dead ones lol.

Either stick it on the charger for at least 3 days (remove the battery from your car and leave it on) or get a 10 amp + charger

Hmmm, lot of stuff I've researched suggested desulfation to recondition the battery, but I haven't personally done much.

That Kinetic is a 60AH battery.

At 1amp, it'll take ~60hours to charge so yeah it wont be overnight.

Good call on the better charger. :good:

Desulfation can work but the process takes weeks and requires a high frequency pulse vs. simply high voltage charging. At least if you want to do it safely haha

From my experience a couple charge/discharge cycles works wonders

Your batteries are wired in parallel. Just hook it up to the front battery and you are good to go (well, provided you have quality connections :) ). I charge mine every 2-3 days
