Not doubting your box designing skills but it cant hurt to have some ideas thrown at you He legitly put a hole in the box as an 8" "aero port"....I doubt his box designing skills... No offense dude but I really wanna see you get good results with your x's... man i used pvc and its in the box.. 8'' give me 26 hz any bigger and i would have be in the 30s.. Mikhail Felton Posted August 15, 2013 Report Share Posted August 15, 2013 also since im tuning higher my port can be bigger.. my new box will be .. 8.3 cuft @ 33 hz with 132 sq in of port.. port ft area is 15.. Id bet money youll be happy with them in that box i hope so too cuz like said i liked all my fi box designs and I havent found one with these Xs yet.. and to let yall know port area isnt king.. I have seem people with 6 and 8'' port get loud as hell.. Also, watch how low you play below tuning cause once I get 6-7hz below tuning I start smelling the sub. BUT JUST LEAVE IT ALONE I HAVE IT STICKING OUT NOW.. I plays mines down to 1 hz at full tilt .. i guess since im not use full power it doesn't hard hit..
