i can read it just fine.

pretty cool steve i like this one a lot, i wish my dakota digital did that. also ever since these things came out i always had it in my mind if the numbers were to small to read? like with the volt meter it changes so fast that before u see it and make out the number it has moved.

it would be cool if u can adjust the brightness or have it automatic like the brightness on a radio when u turn on ur headlight it dims but opposite of that.

I dont have the VM1, but as a truck driver in the army we had lots of gauges in the truck, like: trans temp, engine oil temp, water temp, air pressure, tire pressure, diff oil temp, oil pressure etc. I can only say that after a while i got used to all the gauges and could read them without actually "reading" them, just by looking at them i knew the status. The reason is that after a while you get used to whats called "working temp\load" and if it changed you knew straight away, just by looking at it for a sec. without actually trying to read it.

Same with these meters, after a while you will get used to them, and you will be able to read them very quickly. Especially because they have markings and LEDs specific to a certain "Load".

This might be something I need to integrate into my trunk to keep the piston pump and the hydraulic fluid nice and cool on our hot/humid summer days!

Is the temp sending unit proprietary to the gauge, or can I use the sending unit off my trucks cooling system and hook it up to your gauge to monitor my engines temp? Cool product either way :drinks:
