I've seen super high end gear installed poorly and sound like crap, but I've heard systems with inexpensive gear that was properly planned and installed sound way better. It doesn't matter where an amp is manufactured, it's more important about where it was designed. I've also seen multiple products made in the same factory but be completely different. Why? Most of these factories are just commissioned to make the product based on the blueprints. Just because they are put together in the same building doesn't mean they are of equal quality. All of that said, have you considered going old school on the amps? You can get late 90s PPI amps for really cheap, or even JL slash series amps for cheap. They will be much better than any new lower end amps out there. Where did you get the 5k watt goal? But as I said was a temp system my new system will be thought out and put together better not rushed like current one. Also have been out of car audio for like 6 yrs so relearning some stuff and learning as I go this being biggest wattage system ever built.
