I run 7k with 4 d3100's and I still drop pretty low.

How low?

I'm running four D3100's in back, D3400 up front a Mechman elite 370, powering an NS1 @.65 and I stay in the highs 13s full tilt. Lowest I've seen is 13.4ish.

probably not enough runs/proper grounds. just my 2 cents.

Possibly, I have six cca runs and two OFC runs front to back. The rear batts have busbars on them.

That seems about right to me. You are not dropping into the battery reserve.

5 d3100's sounds like a bit overkill to me for a bc5500 and t600 unless your gonna run that 5500 at a dumb low impedance. I'm running 2 bc5500's and a c1100.4 on 5 d3100's, a kinetik hc1800 under the hood, and a 200 amp alt. I never see below 12v. I'd recommend starting with 2 d3100's and go from there. Keep a close eye on your voltage and if its dropping to low add another d3100.

What are you wired to at the amps? How long can you play before you see 12v?

Im not sure if you are kidding or not but it was just a little bit of a joke but it had some merit as if you went in to the ohms law calculator you can find out more than what just he was asking you can calculate at how many volts with what wattage you are aiming for remembering amplifiers efficiency so lets say 8.5k just to be safe at 14.4 that = 625 amps of current he needs
